    Hi,

I launched my website 2 months back, I am getting lots of hit from google, but my google page rank is still not available.

Can anybody let me know how long does it take for a new website to get google page rank.

    Thanks

You need to wait for the next big update.

You get PageRank almost immediately -- it just won't show up in the toolbar for 3-6 months. Don't worry too much about it. As you said, you're already "getting lots of hits from google".

Close. You need more back links, but traffic has absolutely nothing to do with PageRank. Getting lots of back links will likely lead to more traffic, but traffic won't effect your PageRank.

Update happen every 3-4 months, so you might need to weight anywhere from 1-5 months to see PR, depending on how near coming update it.

Its 1 month when update is only a month away, and you get decent PR links right after launch.

Its 5 months, when update it 1 month away and you could not get enough links to get PR, so you will see PR in next update after 4 months, so making it total 5 months.

Keep up working on your site, try to add more content, build backlinks and wait for the next update.

Concentrate on improving your SERPs for now. Google Page Rank will follow soon enough. As mentioned above, the main PR updates take place usually every 3 months, but we have already had 2 of them now so far this year - the current one taking place right now caught a lot of people by surprise.

Just continue to get good back links, add more content to your pages, and your site should do well.

actually more traffic so more people who like your websit so more people linking to it so more page rank. however to get a page rank you need high pr sites linking to you then you have to wait for 2-4 months to find out that you got a page rank.

It will minimum three months, but you should need more backlinks for PR.
