I started working on promoting a website and although I believe I've covered all of the basic SEO musts, the site still only earns a Google PageRank of 0. I'm sure this won't be the case in the future, because I've done nothing wrong - no reason for Google to sandbox me or to punish me. However, I was wondering whether anyone can estimate how long it takes Google to assign a PR to a site or page and whether the site's theme has anything to do with the duration. My site has been online for about a month now, Google and other search engines have already indexed the pages and of course I've been working on incoming links.
PR updates 4 times a year on your toolbar, however PR updates much more than that, you just cant see it.
If your site contains quality backlinks which is already indexed by google you can get PR. But Backlinks and PR update every three months.
It depends upon quality backlinks of your site... Do your link building process and wait for google to give you PR......This time google is not yet updating it's PR... previously google updates PR and backlinks every 3 months...
you need to wait till google update new PR and it will show your real PR. people said they will update soon so just wait and see the result of it. if you can tryt o get more backlinks as much as you can (quality one). the more you got the more PR you can get.
