how long does g take to index pages on avg?

I have found G to index 1 new page relatively quickly however, I am wondering how long do you guys think it would take to index 1000-3000 new pages?
I am contemplating adding the free seo amazon store to 1 of my sites to test it out.

    Thanks,

    Juls

Depends entirely on the true PR (not toolbar PR) of the index page of the site you want to tag on the amazon store to. If you're a PR6-7 then the 3000 pages can be crawled and indexed in even three days. I've seen something similar on one of my domains.. it happened in three days for me.

One of my sites is about 2 months old and I have over 15k pages indexed with PR0. Just point a many links as you can to it, and point some to inner pages. Make sure the bot has a clean way of getting to all the site, no broken links or stuff like that.

    Juls,
You might want to be careful adding that many content pages so fast (I noticed you run coop ad's)......you don't want to get yourself sandboxed for too many backlinks too fast! :D

Thanks for the advice. Luckily this is just a test for me. To test out different seo ideas that I have learned here. :) I also want to keep how long it take my pages to get index and for me to appear on the serps ;-) Wish me luck.

np but it is not really an amazon store but more just for the content... called Freebie Seo...

there is a script for an amazon store floating around but from what i recall the site was down so you couldnt buy a license. www.ghostscripter.com

i am still on the look out for a real amazon store script. I will let you know if i find a good one.

    ;-)

Thanks :) I looked at one (I think it is the freebie one) but half commissions go to him, which i'm not too happy about

Just launched a new site last week. New domain, purchased the month before. Within 24 hours of the site going live, Become bot was first to visit. Google visited three times in 24 hours. First two times were the index, the third visit it visited all 60 pages or so. MSN hit the index page only, still has not visited any other page other than the index.

I put three links to it about an hour after it was uploaded. Two links were from PR3, one from a PR4. I was surprised the gbot visited all pages in that first 24 hours.

In my experiece it depends on several factors such as number of IBLs, the PR of the pages and even the timing as google seems to crawl more prior to an update.
