How long do you typically wait to change an affiliate program ad?

Been running an affiliate in my niche for 2 days, and after about a little over thousand visits/pageviews, I get some clicks, but no leads or actions.

My marketing has been targeted to folks who may not be spending the most time reading about articles in my niche though, so I wanted to market the ads to the traffic.

Should I wait a day, two, a week before switching? Wasn't sure what you more successful folks have found to work?

Hi, 2 days is not enough to test an affiliate. Unless you are getting huge clicks to the sponsor. Seriously ... I get a sale from 1 in 60, 1 in 10 ...
This question is really hard to answer because, it all depends on your traffic and how you market the affiliate program.

Just some clicks is not much to make a proper decision. I usually like to get at least a few hundred clicks before I decide to pull the plug or not

Thanks guys, and you're right - looking at the traffic patterns, the quality of the traffic isn't directed so that's why I'd be getting poor conversion. Gonna wait until the referrer list grows before making any decisions.

This is great getting started though, good learning exercise :)
