I have a little knowleage about programming and I am ready to use magento for create website to sell some product. I want to estimate time will use to learn magento until I can ready to lunch my shop. Does anybody have experience about it?
Just grab a theme that is close to what you need and refactor it a bit. Its not that bad. http://themeforest.net/category/ecommerce/magento hope that helps, Nigel
You will never stop learning Magento. Its fair easy (if you have a programmers mind) to learn about the basics of their framework but Magento is just soo big that it will always bring up new stuff. So only start if you have time and interest
Hard to say -- what type of programming do you know already and how fluent are you? Initially it sounds like you'll be spending a fair amount of time learning Magento before you're up and running. But it's a really good cart and should be worth the effort.
If you are just getting started with Magento, then don't forget to go through their documentation. It is a perfect place to get started with Magento. Apart from that, you can also get Magento tutorials on Magenticians blog.
There are also plenty of youtube videos on doing specific tasks with Magento. This will be an ongoing process as there is always something new to learn
