How long did you wait for real traffic

    Depends on the site but it can take up to 1 year. just keep plugging away

    I started my site in march and just a week or two ago the majority of traffic switched from referral to organic. I am not getting tons of traffic around 40-50 organic hits daily 90% google 10% bing 0% yahoo

    just optimise your on page site, with your keywords put them in your title, your h1, h2, h3 tags, put the keywords in the opeing paragraph and even put them in bold.

    once you have done this, bookmark your pages with digg, stumbleupon, then you could add the link to your site in a forum signature with the same niche and start posting,. eventually google will take more notice and you will recieve more traffic.

    you have to keep plugging away though.

    You suppose to get some traffic from search engine within 1 month but of course it might not be much. Keep work on it and you will get more and more trafffic

    It took my main forum 2+ years to reach 3 million monthly page views and around 8,000 daily uniques.

    So it depends on how much traffic you consider "real" traffic.

    It depends on your expectation mentally and what type of program you are using to drive traffic to your website! Also it depends on if you have a niche market or not! With out a Niche market it will be a bit difficult to get sales and traffic. But with my niche i got instant traffic, because i am solving a solution to peoples problem every month. So traffic and sales are easy to obtain. But if you don't then, its harder.
