I think you can make as much as you need in a day, as there are people doing just that! it all boils down to knowledge and experience...thats why some take longer than others...trial and error
When I was first starting out with PPC I made it in just one day on a site that I was just testing out. It didn't last long, but sure was nice while it lasted You can make a lot of money and lose a lot of money quick with PPC.
No one can put a finger on the time scale, it really does depend on the niche, what many people do is find what works based on the time of product or service they are promoting and try and scale it, i.e. if they made $600 in one month, if they scaled it 10 times i.e. by outsourcing, they may make $6,000 in the next month
Depends on a number of factors - Traffic numbers - Market/Niche Are the 2 main factors. Sales experience as well.

I started from scratch... learned the basics in 3 to 6 months...improved my skills, focused on my chosen niche...honed my craft... and at last, I earned around $180 a month^^ in 7 days a week/ 5 hours a day... but i'm still up for more...that's because I want to earn at least $300 to $350...
