I'm just starting out here in Affiliate Marketing and $200 a day is about what I need to live off of. So I'm wondering, how long did it take you guys to make that kind of amount? Also, what type of Internet Marketing were you doing to make that kind of money and how many hours a week did you put into it? Obviously, it will differ depending on a lot of factors but i just want to get a ballpark figure on how long this will take if I do this 8 hours a day/5 days a week from home.
Hi, Well first... 1st month.. make sure you get some great traffic on most of your websites..this is the month where it all starts, you won't earn much (maybe a bit) and only after that month (and mostly much other months, you can earn a steady income via affiliates) To get 200$ a day... well I'm sure it takes a long time... more than 6 months for sure (even if you are 8 hours a day behind your PC) Greetz
It depends on what you marketing, and how you are marketing your affiliate products. Keep in mind that if you are trying to sell ebooks that in my general experience sales are up and down, and it will be difficult to reach your goal. On the other hand if you look into current buying trends and see what is selling at a high rate than you can turn over quite a few $$ provided you hit the market with enough speed using your affiliate links If you do that you can make your money in a short time
It can take you 1 day or 10 years, it depends on lots of factors. People are making 2K a day easily .. You can make 200$ literally in a few hours .. if you have the right knowledge and tools..
I am earning a residual income using membership affiliate programs, once everything is in place the program pays you on auto pilot. With the type of hours you have to work you could be making over $10,000 per month easily. Have a look at what i mean, 2nd line of my sig.
My advice: Get a coach! For example, look at all professional athletes like Tiger Woods and Michael Phelps, both successful because they have had a coach from the beginning.
Actually, I've been looking for a coach. So where is the best place to find one? Also, can I expect to pay for this mentoring or are there actually people out there who are so filthy rich and kind-hearted that will do this for free?
If your a addictive reader. There is so much information out there that if you look hard enough you will be able to come up with your own answers. Mentor's are great but very rarely will they do things without benefiting themselves. So until you have something to offer I suggest you make Google Search your mentor.
You won't be able to earn $200/day with affilate marketing without a rather-large investment, which even then is risky. If you are looking at working at home, I suggest you seroiusly consider pornographic websites, as they are the easiest way to make money online if you buy a pre-ready site. You can buy a website, which earns $200/day. Which is around $6,400+ to buy. The way most people work out is, their monthly income x2 = how much the website is worth.
I thought it was monthly net x 10 was how much the site is worth? Are porn sites different? Anyway, I'm basically starting with nothing. For the past month, I've been reading up on PPC and getting my feet wet. I've also been building a blog. I know that PPC is the fastest way to make money so I'm concentrating at least 75% of my time to doing that so I can get to $200/day as fast as possible. However, it almost seems safer to purchase a turn-key site just so I can cover rent/bills/etc and then having that stability...start to build my blogs and ease into PPC. I'm good at HTML/CSS. My PPC/SEO skills are beginner/intermediate at best right now. I have the money to purchase sites making $200/day (which is what I need to live off of) but I'm wondering if this is safer than putting that money into PPC. What route would you all take if you were in my shoes?
There are more methods to the madness of marketing on the Internet than one can describe in one simple forum thread. Pick one idea, one method and get really good at it. The whole key here is to focus. THen later on add another method to the mix. Many people see marketing as one - sided. They focus only on article marketing or doing strictly podcasts. You build up and add on to each later as time passes on. This is called your marketing mix.
Massive amounts of research are required to make such money and there is no easy fix. Spend the time analyzing keywords, niche subjects, competition, ppc, affiliates, etc. Once you find a niche run the numbers. Some niche subjects have too much competition to make anything... some are golden and you can make much more than $200/day from some of them. The key is to diversify and not put all your eggs in one basket. Google ranking changes can kill you if you rely solely on search engine traffic. I'm doing alright and the way I did it... find 20 niche domains to start off with. Build sites/optimize/basic SEM. Wait a few months and see what's producing and what's not. Spend time optimizing best paying sites and experimenting with new marketing tactics. Basically it takes time and business sense. Some people have it and will devote the time... others don't
Probably it'll take me 5 years to make a solid $200 a day. I am on the 3th year now, so within 2 years i expect to be at $200/day. I made websites, with subjects regarding my online hobbies. This allows me to make/collect much content with using relative few hours/energy (as i already know much about the subject). And as the site gets more content, it gets more traffic and more ad-impressions. With keeping track of ad-networks to see if i still have the best networks in the top tiers of my rotation, i'm improving earnings as well.
well you basically test a market by affiliate marketing. Then if the market works you create your own product to keep all the profits to yourself. That's what I do! Also, heard about 80/20? It is VERY, VERY important to focus 80% of your time on PRODUCING ASSETS (content, products, audio, video, BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS) and all that stuff. I think this is the main factor that separates those who are successful and make $200 or more a day than those who do not. Those who make a little money focus their time on design and all that stupid stuff. Don't do that. Focus on design but let's say do it one day of the week.
My hobbies themed sites are currently about (flash)games, which never result in good CTR rates. I have tried PPC's, but since i abused my Google Adsense account, years ago, i don't have many alternative PPC-networks left. The content i write on these flash games are just read by the hardcore fans of the niche, and these users will keep returning and contribute to the forum. If i place PPC ads on these pages i probably get relevant ads and thus a better CTR so then PPC would be earning. It's just that these content pages aren't generating much traffic, compared to the game-pages.
That's what I mean, however if you make that way more than $100 and around $200 a day it's even great. I assume it's very tough niche for money making, I hope you understand that people don't have lot of monies But do you do it now via affiliates or some other context way ?
Photoshopped by me I am now earning from CPM and popups, both have an equal share in my total revenue. I am starting with affiliate as well, but that represents like 15% of my total earnings now. My goal is to drive as much traffic as possible to my sites. Then earning isn't that hard anymore.
