Yes, when I said hows that I changed my ads, I was getting you to have a look and see what you thought . It seems to have worked, my CTR is up (slightly). I cant make any real comparisions, because I'm averaging 1-2 clicks per day
I made more than a dollar a day, the first day I started with Adsense. This holiday weekend has taken a toll on my stats
You have a nice website there... for me to increase ur incomes u must: -Have a good contents especially its original and new for everyone... -And then traffic for sure, if u have thousand visitors a day i believe it'll boost ur income.... try to promote ur website and get more link back...
Yep, I need to work on that. Thanks for the tips... I think all thats left is get about 20x the traffic each day
Ok, as a follow up, How many CLICKS were you getting to get to $1, or how much was each click paying? Thanks for the help
my first day i only had 1 click worth about $0.13, my second day a had several clicks averaging about $1.45(dont remember exactly, but it was something around that).
Hmm... I'm getting 1 click per day, and they pay 5 cents. Another question, this one may not be adsense related - how do music site owners make money? I'm waiting for Itunes affiliate to be approved, but I cant see that doing much.. Is music really a dud niche? At this rate I'll need about 20x the traffic to make $1 per day... Also, all the people saying they made a dollar on their first day - was this your first day of having the website running, or the first day adsense was on a 5 year old domain? Just checking
in my first day i made like $0.13, but after that it grew quickly and i made about $600 in my first month. after that it maxed at about $1000 a month for 5 or 6 months then dropped. The site was about 2 weeks old when i put the adsense on it.
Imo it you need more traffic. I get quite a bit of traffic but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll click but for me, if I get over 300/day I get a $1 or more mabye
I would suggest you update more frequently, links to news snippets about music and stuff.. Update once or twice a day since it is a Blog. Do some link building exercise. Visit other blogs and leave comments. Link out to music related blogs... Google also give weightage to good quality outgoing links as well... I have blog with one incoming link but content rich, got me PR 3 in 2 months. Content is King.
just a note: PR, as many will support me, doesn't mean a thing in terms of bringing you more traffic and not a whole lot in terms of bringing you up in SERPs. As far as earning the first $1, I think it was about 5 hrs. But the site was 2 years old and wasn't built for Adsense (there should be more sites like that). Then I got carried away with building more sites for Adsense and noticed a funny thing - the more you think about Adsense when building the site, the poorer the performance. So yeah, "Content's the King".
Why do people post 'I made a dollar in my first second, a quadrizillion in my first week?' And, oh btw, it was on a site I just created. You had to shove traffic there from an existing site with great traffic.
