Making money online took me a few years. I learned as much as I possibly could about every method out there. I applied each one and succeeded with everyone. The key is to be persistent with what you do, if you're going to be marketing on a site or forum then market and sell the best product that you possibly can.
I have never really been successful online as I too switch from project to project. I think the key to success online is to be consistent and stick with one thing until you make it successful.
I had my first $10 two years ago when I built a website for my software. There was this banner program that pays you monthly just to have their banner on your site. And then I started to make another site and my own hosting company. Now I am earning some money enough to keep me alive everyday
