My site has been live for about 5 months now and i'm still waiting to see a green bar on my tool for my website. I know PR isn't that important anymore but i want to see that all the work i put into it, is paying off. Hopefully the PR update will be soon and i get some.
Think it was somewhere in the region of a month or so, maybe more. But you're right, the green pixels are just one part of an overall more complicated algo now.
Qoogle updates toolbar PR quarterly and the cutoff day is about a month before update. So if you have done the right thing, you'll see toolbar PR in 1-4 months.
Why isn't the pagerank not as important? You mean trustrank is more important? _________________________________
Truthfully, I haven't seen anyone say PR isn't that important anymore, if it's not I will surely be very happy cause it's hard getting an increase, however I still see in forums all over, people acting crazy about PR. So even though, like Bling states, only search results are important, there is still this whole PR craze going on and I think it's still somewhat important. Isn't it?
I would say I was lucky enough. I got PR just in 2nd month only after starting my Webmaster Discussion forums .
