I hit $24 bucks in my first month of March this year. ...but then it dropped below $10/day for the 5 months following. Only last month did I get back into actively promoting my sites and researching how to get traffic and I hit my record $44 bucks last month.
Did you guys just play around with adsense (i.e. placement, colors, site content) or did you use any guides to help you? Also what is YPN?
Ad placement is important factor in getting the Ads clicked. for example I've placed the ads on footer and above actual article on http://blog.clickfor.net . Now I get about 3%-8% CTR on my ads. YPN is abbreviation for Yahoo! Publisher Network. Its Yahoo's Ad publishing service similar to Google Adsense. You can get more information at: http://publisher.yahoo.com
What the hell. I have to fight to even get it above 20 and my site is two years old with a lot of traffic (compared to your tiny sites that seem to make a ton of money.) I feel jipped. Any tips? Everyone is so reluctant to say what they do :/ Either that or I am just a retard for trying to make my site actually useful.

I am interested in that statement. Is that $20.00 a day? Or a total of $20.00 after 3 weeks? The reason I ask is because I started a site, (yesterday), and I was banking on 3 months before I would even make a single penny. When did you see your first genuine click? Had google/yahoo/msn listed you by then? FFMG
It's the total after 3 weeks, but in my case I had a geocities site (2,5 years old) about the theme linking to this site. Otherwise I had no search rankings for the first couple of months.
A month on a new site with adsense. I'm still targeting to hit $100 a month... while I see that a lot of you guys find it so easy to get there, it's kinda puzzling for me how you guys do that.
Oh.. I thought it was $20 per day, according to my graph it must have been 7 days before I got $20 in total.
I joined a week ago and already made $569. I made more than $20 from day one. It's funny actually; people ask here how others manage to do so well and I ask myself all the time, how others manage to get les than $100 a month.
Nobody should be too impressed with the speed at which someone started earning $20/day, unless they take into consideration how long the person was running the site before they signed up with Adsense. I could be the webmaster of site that has 1,000,000 unique visitors a day, then sign up for Adsense, come in here and say "I don't understand you people, I made $2000/day from day one. Jeez, get with the program!" The real question for this thread should be "How long did it take to reach 10,000 unique visitors/day"?
