How long did it take to get indexed by google

I have some pages "fully" indexed by google, but most of my threads are only parially indexed. My site is 2.5 months old now. I figured threads would be fully indexed by now.

MSN is awsome in terms in indexing....almost updated daily.

Yahoo is a bit better than google, buy still far off of MSN.

My experience is similar to yours.

6 weeks for Google. Then I went from 3 to 20 pages indexed overnight (including some pages that were only a couple days old).

MSN is very fast...they are definitely working very hard to knock Google down a peg or two. I'm getting 2:1 traffic from MSN than Google so far.

It's taken me about 3 weeks to get 700 out of a possible 3000 new pages indexed. Basically get as many incoming links as possible and also try to get links to internal pages, Co-op is great for this.

I too have experienced what seems like a very long and fruitless wait to be indexed by Google. I originally submitted to Google August 4, 2006 and that's a good 8 weeks now. It does appear from an examination of my webstats that the googlebot visited but is there anyone who can tell me how in CPanel to determine the date of that visit as it doesn't seem to be readily available?

It only took like a week for my site to get indexed and all my other sites are indexed quickly since they are just subdomains and the crawler already crawls my main page.

My latest domain name got indexed in 3 days - granted its only a splash screen and holding page at the moment but at least i can find it in google. Amazing what a link on the index page of a PR5 site or two can achieve in a short space of time! :D
