How long did it take for your first check to arrive?

I'm outside of US so direct deposit doesn't work for me. My first check was sent 27th Feb., but it's already a month since then. It hasn't arrived yet.

Really worried me because it's a substantial check of $1,500. How long did your first check arrive? Alas, only if they could offer wire transfer or payment via paypal...

 

From US to Europe - 2-3 weeks max.

And don't worry about cheque delivery - you can always ask amazon to issue a new cheque (it's simple and free).

 

From US to India - 15 to 20 days max. All checks are sent by standard post.

 

Normally takes about 1 week to the UK. If for any reason your check doesn't arrive though Amazon are very helpful and should reissue the check without a problem (might cost you about $20 or $30). I've had a check reissued in the past - they just cancelled the old one and sent another.

Is your address correct or have enough info to send mail? You've to check all information about your address before send reissue request.

 

Yes, address is correct, I checked like 10 times. It's the same address I use with other affiliate programs and I successfully received 2 checks delivered to this address before. Really weird.

Are you sure? Why especially does the first check have to take so long?

 

Hm, you better contact Amazon, I'm sure they will re-send it (they should). All of my checks need 2 weeks to arrive, including first one. Never had problems with them sending or post delivering it to me.

Contact them now. 25 is maximum I would wait. Where are you from, if it's not too personal?

great help. One question , does the "adress line 2" appear on printed envelope . If it doesnt , my postman is going to have hard time finding me

 

My Amazon check take around 2-3 weeks to be receive. They usually come with a month from issued date.

All checks are sent by standard US post. Therefore, these checks cannot be tracked. It can take 10 to 15 days for international checks to arrive, depending where you live - big cities or small town / village.
