How long did it take for you to reach atleast 1k page views per day?

4 months. Yesterday I had 7000!

 

How are you able to get that much traffic?

 

I hardly measure traffic anymore. It has little meaning. The important thing is how long it takes to get customers and reach profitability. I try to help my customers reach a revenue threshold such as $ 1,000 per month rather than 1,000 visitors.

 

No traffic = Zero Clicks
No traffic = Zero Impressions

Right?

It took me 34 months to achieve 1000 per day averaged
over one month. Mostly by pure organic search engine.
Now I am up to over 4500 average per day, with bursts
up to 6500. Still organic.

3000 per day 9 months later than that

4500 per day 3 months later than that.

If we follow the trend it will take us 6 more months to get up to 5000 per day on average

 

It took me about 3 months to get 100k daily page views. Don't worry though - it was a combination between forums and a service for users that wasn't available anywhere else (with a search engine, among other things). The demand for it wasn't too small, but not too great either (niche site).

 

Well I was born in 1952 and I finally got 1000 page a day views in 2002...So it took me 50 years.

The traffic will depend a lot on the domain as well.

 

I have a retail site, so I send about 5,000 hits a day there, and average 2,500 views and 25 clicks, for $15-$20 a day. I have access to unlimited untargeted visitors.

 

I rarely look at page hits or page views. I usually look at the uniques as a sign the site is growing in popularity.

Perhaps I'm doing it wrong.

 

I think you're right. Page views alone don't matter as much as actual visitors. I actually do the same thing as you do.

 

Alot of content helps.

 

I think thats a good way to look at it. I think the others are more focused on their Google Ads. ie page views

 

I was able to get 1K pageviews in less than 2 days....yes....and it was easy, but that's because it's a photo gallery. Does that count?

man, i cant even get 200 pageviews a day on my site, but might just be the topic and name. so so far.....1 and a half months and still going till it takes me to get 1K page views per day.
