I have not gotten one yet. It has been over a month. I just got an email from Amazon about how I have not sold anything yet. Do they cancel your account if you haven't sold anything?
I kinda forgot, but I guess mine is about 3 months. No, Amazon doesn't cancel your account just because you haven't sold anything
I think my first was about a year or so. That's when I realize it's possible to actually sell something. Or people actually buy from these links. Every since that, I'm making regular sales, because I'm creating content.
Took me about 3 days after I placed my first ads. Then again, my site is really really niche targeted. - Perfect Pushups
Sales are directly related to site traffic and target nitch. If your site only gets a few visitors a day, do not expect to sell much. But if you get 10,000 visitors expect to do good. When I signed up at amazon and put banners on my site, it was a couple of months before I got my first sale. In fact, I gave up on amazon and focused on developing more traffic. Once the traffic increased to a good steady rate, then I put banners back on my site. I probably took the banners off for about a year, and then put them back on. If your not getting sales, it might be due to low traffic. Work on getting the traffic to your site up, then focus on the sales.
Please be patience with the Amazon. Why don't you use PPC. It would help you earn more commission. And try to find niche keyword. That would help you selling amazon product too
you definitely have to have traffic to get sales, especially since the way people or, more importantly, find your site is through a search engine. if you have some good content, you will eventually get noticed by search engines. a store alone won't do it because it's duplicate content, unless you add/change descriptions to make your text unique.
I had an associate account for years on a neglected blog and Amazon never fired me. I started a new blog less than a month ago and already have $160 in Amazon earnings! I think the Christmas season was good for me.
Amazon works really well for me - try adding their deals of the day widget. It generates the latest offers and deals automatically.
Absolutely right! If you site get good traffic, you will not need to worry about sales! PPC is good, but always depend on conversion and how much you paid per keyword. Something it will not worth to do so.....
Hello there, When it comes to making sales on Amazon it's really going to take patience, dedication, and a basic-advanced knowledge of online e-sales. You need to bare in mind that Amazon it primarily used for people who either; A. Are seeking to buy similar items in bulk amounts. Or B. Someone seeking a specific item. As you can see, the majority are seeking specific items, and of course large amount are not on there to "buy random things for fun", so you just have to be patient sometimes. (Especially now a days with this economy.) So in conclusion, my best piece of advice to you would be to if possible, offer as many products as possible through your Amazon shop. Best of luck
I signed up for amazon affiliate program but didn't make a single for almost a year. Make more sale when more people visiting my site. You definitely need more traffic to your site or just use ppc (carefully) if you're impatient
First day. Sold on craigslist and others. Had friends and family buy items through my astores links and gave them cash.
