How long did it take for you to break into the big money?

I am still far away. Still in the 'reading' stage But, DP is definitely providing the light at the end of tunnel for me.

 

I made my first $ 100 in 4 months.

At this point im making $ 80 a month from adsense.

I am trying to improve it to $ 100 + a month, so I will receive a check every month.

You need traffic to you know.. you can know everything about adsense, but without the traffic you cannot make anything.

 

What is big?

I think:
USD100 = OK
USD500 = Not bad
USD750 = Why not go for USD1000?

Took me about two weeks to get $100/month.

 

Can you post your tips of getting traffic and eventually making them click on your ads? I and many other that are still begginers would be very thankfully.

 

prev earning 100$ was big deal for me as i,am from india but this days i can earn few $$ only thing is we have to work hard

my first month was over $200

"targeted" social web site traffic

 

i just broke the $100 with a 2 month old site, took me 1 year+!

 

I'm not at $100 a month yet, and I've been around for 1 and a half years

 

I will also add goals to that. and you have them.

 

Took me 1 1/2 months to get the site going and get the traffic established, and then another 2 weeks to get the ads up and configure them in such a way that people would click

 

Got $600/month after 3 months, now after 14 months i'm making roughly around $3k/month or $100+/day. Earnings went up primarily coz my traffic increased to 40k uniques/day. But I'm still earning so low with that amount of traffic, smartpriced again. And I'm getting 4-5k clicks/day but only $120/day... Others are earning $500+ with that amount of clicks...

It took me 3 months to get $100, and i'm still on this, even though i have started lots of new websites none of them are promoted on the same scale as the first. I'm usually hitting between $30 - $40 a month, which i know isn't big money. After launching my first site in January, i'm starting to get traffic from google (1,500 this month thusfar) so hopefully things will pick up.
