How Long Did It Take Before Your Website Made Money

Hi all and cheers for reading and I am looking for some comments. I have tried before with 3 websites and made 56 dollars in 5 months but then gave up as I thought the effort put in wasn't rewarded. Childishly I deleted those websites but I have to decided to try once more.

Now a lot of you seem to really know Adsenses and how things work. How long did it take before your Websites actually started to make good money and did it then increase much after that. Can you give time scales and how much you made say after 6 months, a year, 2 years etc. Thanks all and good luck making money.

as i know, the old your site was, the more luck you are. because it depends on your site's PR.. good PR will gain much visibility by the search engine.. for time exactly, i don't know.. waiting for the other response..

it is impossible to give such a time scale, it all depends on how many work you put into it.

for example had a site (sold) wich made around $70 after 1 month, but i did alot of marketing for this particular website.
I also have websites wich i hardly do any marketing for, these websites make around 1/2 dollar per month for me..

so my advice is to put alot of effort in your site, do not look at any time scales ( you can set persoanl targets tho), but just keep marketing your site until you are satisfied.

From my side of experience, i'll say about a year. And each time I launch a new site, i don't expect any return on investment before a year as work mainly with search engine traffic. That's why i have decided to open a directory, as this kind of site doesn't rely on SE traffic to start making money.

I've had my sites for several months now and this month is the first that I'm really starting to see results. Lots of organic Google traffic and I'm earning money from both AdSense and other affiliate programs. I should get close to $200 this month. I do put a fair amount of time into my sites - want to start more but need to find the time ;)
