I've seen slurp in and out of my site every few hours for a week already, yet when i go to yahoo.com and type in my site's name, even in quotation and even www.mysite.com it still won't show my site...what are they doing in there and taking so long to index my site?
    thanks in advance.

patience killar... there is no definite period, though based on experience, having a sitemap.xml and submitting it to Yahoo siteexplorer will hasten the process.

You can speed up the process by building some high quality backlinks.

Yup sitemap is the way to go, you should get indexed shorty afterwards although Yahoo can be funny at times!

Yahoo has been real slow with new sites. I have one over 4 months old and still not indexed (except for main page). I have been doing everything necessary. Sitemaps on site explorer, I even paid the 299 for directory inclusion. Yahoo Slurp comes by and takes a quick peek at it once a week, but that's as far as they go. I've been pinging them, singing to them and anything else I can think of.

I know I've read on their blog that they have some "major change" happening so I'm hoping this is why. Anyway, I am prepared to offer Yahoo my sister if they come deep crawl!
