I have a site that is (was) approx. #25 in the SERPs for a fairly low traffic keyword phrase. This was with only a single PR 0 link. I recently got a few more links, PR 3-5 to my site. How long before my site moves up in the serps? The #1 and 2 sites for this keyword phrase only have a few low quality links to their site.
Honestly I think PR doesn't mean all that much anymore. Google is now tracking what people click and if they stay there long enough. THAT IS WHAT a quality result is. I'm basing this entirely on logical assumptions. 1. Google doesn't have a direct link anymore for the results, it's being tracked. 2. In Google Sitemaps you can see what searches brings you traffic. 3. PR0 pages can get top result just as easily as a PR9, as long as it's relevant to the search.
Shift your Keyword further ahead in your Title tag. For eg if your keyword is "Adsense" Then use Adsense as the first word in your Title tag. example 1 :: Adsense SIte, Caculator example 2 :: Adsense Calculator AND NOT example 3 Calculate your Adsense Example 4 SIte Adsense calculator After you do this.. wait until your site gets indexed.. and chk out the result.. I hope this helps you..
That won't matter if those site's are a) old sites and b) their incoming links have been up for a while. You probably won't be able to find out "b". So your best bet is to continue to get links regardless of your rankings. Don't worry...you'll get rankings.
