I read a thread a while ago about proxy sites getting bombed by someone trying to get people kicked out of adsense. Today I checked my stats and had a ctr of greater than 100% and my eCPM off the chart. I immediately installed Adlogger and sent an email to Adsense telling them that there may be a problem with the site today. I have not heard back. How long does it normally take? I am really not trying to get suspended for a measly $7.
How many impressions did it take to generate that 100% CTR, Carl? The lower the number of impressions, the easier it is to skew the CTR.
It may take a few days depending on their pending emails/jobs. But i dont think you should worry about it after you emailed them. You may also consider removing the ad in that time..
Not sure how long G will reply your email, based my experienced they reply my email arround 1-14 days.Be patient.
It was a relative low number, less than 100. But the CTR was over 100% and the links are not hidden (it is the proxy in my sig). That means more than once, someone hit an ad, hit the return button, and hit another ad. I posted the reply that I got from Google. It seems like all they said was that my account had not been banned. Not exactly what I was asking.
He means did Adsense count those clicks as earnings? Which leads to this question: Did you get the 100% CTR from your Adsense stat page, or from a third-party software like Adlogger?
I got those stats from adsense and the money is still there. It was only like 25 clicks now that I look at it but the rpc was 20X higher than my average click.
