How long before my google blog(blogger) gets indexed

hi everybody, i recently started a blogger blog, the URL is http://gadgetmaniauk.blogspot.com/ ,when i created it i pinged it and also put the link to it in my forum sig, this was at least 2 weeks ago but when i check site:http://gadgetmaniauk.blogspot.com/ in google search, it doesnt appear to be indexed?

does it normally take this long?

You need more quality links. DP signature links count for very little. Try getting some links from other sources. Also 2 weeks is a very short period of time when it has to do with search engines. They have billions of pages to crawl and index. A site with only DP signature links wouldn't be a priority for them.

 

thanks for the reply, i only started this thread because i have heard of blogs getting indexed in 24 hours and just wondered why mine hasnt been indexed

also my blog has 2 links from an ezine article

 

The indexed time sahll be wthin 1 months. Most the blogspot indexed within a week

 

you must need quality backlinks. post in yahoo answers or digitalpoint definitely within 3 or 4 days your site will be indexed

 

i can make 1 new blog in blogspot and get index within 2 hours
just get quality links and 3 post will do
