How Long before min bid gets changed?

Okay, so I put in some keywords and their min bids were high, like over a buck. I made some changes to my ad to optimize them like adding the keyword to the title, and the min bid did not change.

I am wondering if it takes time to adjust the min bid or did my changes suck?

    Thanks

Sometimes it's not your ads but your website which really matters. Google also look into your website to see if they are relevant.

If you do it right, you will see CPC drop immediately

Well, for the last two weeks I was trying to get a campaign going. I was reading all the quality guidelines I could find and implemented them all. I was making changes and patiently waiting for CPC to go down.... NOPE never happened... Today I wrote to AdWords support asking for the site quality review. Hopefully, I will get a response soon.

If CPC is not as high as 5 dollars or 10 dollars, that's probably because the competetion. I had a adgroup avg. CPC 0.57 at the first time. Now it's 0.24. I wait 2 months.

I got a reply from AdWords support today.... a simple cookie cutter - improve the quality, relevancy, etc blah blah blah

I guess, they are not interested in helping little guys:(

As mentioned it is likely a combination of things. The best way to get lower click costs is to overbid initially. If you just try to start a new campaign at the listed minimum, you will not get the proper exposure and CTR to get a proper bid price.

So you need to go above and beyond. Just limit your budget and overbid, and if your ads are relevant and get a good CTR you will see your prices come down. If you just try to do it by bidding the lowest amount possible, it is unlikely you will have much luck.
