My friend kenny at iWebtool offers a tool that allows you to check the PR at the various Google Datacenters. There are a few tools like this on the net, but this was the first that came to mind: http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_checker?domain=google.com

I was able to see a PR4 for one of my sites just prior to the last update. And sure enough, when the update came the toolbar showed PR4. You might already have a PR, just that the toolbar doesn't show it yet.

As soon as your pages are indexed by google. The pages will get some rank, but too tiny too show.

I have spent most of today checking all my backlinks and most are pr3 - pr7
so hopefully i have got them before pr actually updated. Although it seems important for me, like all of you i really want to check if the effort i spend each day will get me the rankings i want. I rank top ten for ibp 9,but my goal was to reach that under the more competitive keywords. From my investigations it seems i need to get a pr3 at least. Once i have acheived this i can actually get a more attractive design for the site and actually start making some money.

FYI, If your site is only a month old, and these links are coming from a small number of web sites (i.e. a bunch of site wides on a few domains) you may be building links too fast. To go from zero to 1500 to 20000 in 1 month may set off some of Google's filters. But this (with most SEO) is all speculation :)
