Hi all, Ive been running a few campaigns for a month now and noticed various words are getting impressions but no clicks, is it best just to delete the words that are in a campaign that are getting impressions but no clicks? Also is a month long enough or should i leave it longer? Thanks for your help.
Google is not a charity. Bid higher. http://www.redflymarketing.com/blog/adwords-great-quality-score-low-minimum-bids-but-no-impressions/
There are many things to do. What I usually do (not all together): 1) Copy the low clicks keywords to a new campaign and delete it from the old one. 2) try change the range of the keywords 3) create a new ad variation with some of these keywords. 3) raise total budget 4) raise individual bids 5) or place lower bids to go to the last spot (according to ShoeMoney and his experiences, users tend to click more on the first spot - doh! - and the last spoot. If you can control and research this might be an option Good luck Cheers Lucio Dias Ribeiro
If you are getting impressions but no clicks, then you just need to write a better text ad. No point in throwing away potential customers... Would you close down a store in the mall if people just walked by the front door and never came in? NO... you simple put a better sign in the window that makes them want to come in more often... People are looking, they are just not seeing any value...
Thanks for this, i wasnt sure whether just to delete them as im hitting my budget with clicks with certain words that prove way more popular than others. Ill move them into seperate campaigns and change the ad and see how it goes. Cheers
