    If it is a brand new domain no matter what you do it's going to take time. You can submit it to 10,000 directories, google won't give it respect until you have put in your time. In fact most serious SEO companies won't even take your project on to improve your traffic unless your domain is 1 1/2 - 2 years old. Keep that in mind and be patient, this isn't an overnight project.

    Its hard to give the exact answer. Depends on methods you use to promote your site. Take these two examples. Two of my friends started blogs (almost similar niche) around same time.

    Now here is the stats:

    One friend is getting 8K - 10K uniques a day. Where as the other one is getting around 15K a month. Both sites are less than a year old. Both update them on a daily basis. And what more, both have nice content.

    The only difference I see here is marketing strategy.

    Friend A, concentrated on Marketing the blog as well as content creation. Friend B was bothered only about content.

    Content Marketing also plays a major role here :).

    Dude, really. How long is a piece of string. Forget the traffic. First off you need to be promoting your website. 100 directories - hmmmm, I don't somehow think that will make your site a very popular one.

    Anyhow, maybe you ought to redesign your website and actually add some real content.
