How long and what does it take for a website to make $1/day

    Not just $1, but $10/day or more

    I have seen programs that you can buy that teach you to make $300/day using adwords

    Are these legitimate?

    What are effective strategies (or favorite strategies) to making money online or on websites?

    It depends on a lot of factors.. your knowledge with marketing, if you already have a network of sites etc etc.

    Don't fall for the scam "guides" any information and more can be found at the site your on right now. I think everyone on this board at one time fell for one those quick rich guides. Ask yourself this.. If the guide works and the person whos selling it is so rich.. why would he be selling his secret marketing tips?

    Would you sell everyone your secret to sucess, on how you made 300 bucks a day, which would possible lower your income? I wouldn't..

    My advice would be... to read every bit of information you can find on this site pertaining to marketing, increasing traffic, seo... you get the idea, the list goes on.

    It could take a few clicks on an adsense ad for you to earn $1.

    It depends on how much bidders are willing to pay, how many unique visitors you get and how many click on your ads.

    Tip - make your ads subtle, i.e. look like they are part of the menu. That way you'll get more clicks.

    For google the average is 1000 visitors equals $1 but as promotionalhelp mentioned it would depend on a number of factors

    Man it depends on a lot of crap, mainly traffic and ad placement IMHO.

    But according to some people here they were making $5 , $10, $15 dollars the first day/week they started using adsense.

    Personally I think some of them are full of crap.

    Well, my experience varies when using Adsense. I can't force my visitors to click on the Adsense adverts and the adverts are not static so there is no way for me to determine if my visitors would click them and if they do, they will click the higher paying adverts. So it is hard to say.

    If you get visitors like me, I never click banners or ads.

    Er, serriously, I don't even notice ads any more. Too much training I supose...
