Hi there is a domain i am after which is about to expire the following DNS records show:

    Relevant dates:
    Registered on: 19-Feb-2004
    Renewal date: 19-Feb-2008
    Last updated: 26-Jan-2006

    Registration status:
    Renewal required.
*** This registration has been SUSPENDED. ***

How long or can somebody give me an estimate as to when i would be able to register this domain or when it will be available to me?

    Cheers

Expired period: the registrar may send the delete command to the Registry 1-45 days after expiry. Registrant may renew at regular price during this period.
Redemption Grace Period: 30 days -Registrant may renew at a higher price (usually $150-200)
    Pending Delete Period: 5 days
Available: domain drops and is available after the sum of periods above

The answer is approx 75-80 days from the expire date if no one buys it on the expired domain auctions.

I see you are in the UK, is your domain a .co.uk? My answer above is for .com/net.

The grace period and redemption period vary registrar to registrar. Contact your registrar for this information.

If you really want it you could try backordering it now but that will cost you extra.

Yes, you can try backordering. However, ackorder does not guarantee the domain name being backordered. The domain name may be renewed by the current owner or may not become available or it may be unsuccessful to register the domain by backordering attempts to register the domain on your behalf.
