Good point. This might have less to do with his TLA links than with the "review me for backlinks" contest. Time will tell if it's the latter since many of the blogs that list on Google for the term "make money online" run the same type of contest. If they get slapped then we'll know for sure it's the contest that caused the problems for John, not the TLA.
