Many DP members get a large share of their revenue from link sales, so I'm curious all the recent penguin updates affected your link selling business? Are your clients still buying as many links as before, or has this slowed down?
true, it seems like there is more demand for higher quality links and sites. But the main question is does this make the whole link selling biz more profitable for site owners due to higher prices, or less profitable because of potentially reduced demand in light of the recent penguin updates?
For me ist was slowing Down but not sure it was because of the penguine. Could also be me concentrating in my other businesses.
Yes there is no doubt about the fact that Link selling has definitely slowed down after Penguin. And got severely hit due to this. Have to search for other alternative ways.
Sellers are getting desperate and creating duplicate accounts and duplicate threads in the hope they will dominate the market.
well, it is truly slowed down , people used to pay more for quality links . now everyone buy junk stuffs for low price but still doing some stuffs
I think more than Penguin it is economic slowdown which is affecting all of us. Every company is trying to save money, that's why they want more at low price, which everyone of us has to adjust for sometime.
Link sales have slowed, which has made for some great bargains on Text Link Ads. Just do your research (as if you were buying the domain) and be willing to negotiate.
What I was wondering is how much of your business comes from forums and DP directly and how much is sites like buysellads?
