How is windows 8, and it's problems?

windows 8 RTM just released. i am using windows 8 release preview. so far i can say that Windows 8 is fastest than Windows 7 in every cases. windows 8 start less than 10 second and shutdown less than 10 second. new task manager, new copy paste manager and many more attractive features. i had a problem with windows 8 and that is 3 times after installation i got hanged suddenly and i had to press power button on my laptop. except this, all are OK with windows 8 for me. I use many powerful software in windows 8 which comes out really fast. everyone please share your experience with downs 8 and tell us the good thing and specially the bad things/problems that we all can solve your problem.

 

I think I will own a copy. I have not experienced with windows 8. it there any system requirement for windows 8 ? I am currently using window 7 and my system from intel and processor dual core 2.4 ghz.

I didnt know windows 8 was released I have not heard about it in the U.S.! I will check it out thanks.

windows 8 is specially made for tablet computer.but its final version is not still released.

 

I installed it on my VMWare a couple a days ago, so far so good, i rly like new design and it runs slightly faster then W7.

 

So it's better than Windows 7?

 

Win 7 is good but the change is more cosmatic nothing earth shattering. The new design is cool and the speed is little faster espcially while shutting down it works better then Win xp. Hopefully the final version will be better then the current one. Thanks.

 

I want to try the Windows 8. I want to review it if what are the features that we can go further in this windows 8.

 

I tried Win 8 just a week ago, I was installed from USB in less then 10 or 12 minutes. (which is faster then all previous versions of windows).
But this have lot of animations which looks like smart phones features. And also few 32 bit software's are not working properly (It may be fix).
And media player and other utilities are also not there.
Well, its still under development so good luck I am hoping a better PC experience from Win 8 !!!!

 

i am still using windows 7 ultimate. i am really okay with it. when they release the full version of windows 8, i am going try it

 

I am not using Windows 8 yet now but it will be more fast and better than the Windows 7. I think Windows 8 still not released.

 

Yea that's right Windows 8 will slated for general availability on October 26, 2012.

 

This windows is very nice and useful, microsoft improves many things in this version

 

I think windows 8 will be the best in windows because all windows are better than older once and windows 8 will be better than the windows 7 i din't use it still but i will use it in few days.

 

Hi,,,I'm using window 8 from last 4 months and I faced problem when I was installing software actually I was installing old version software, then I googled for tech support and found toll free number of helppconline. I called to helppconline, then they took my system on remote access and fixed my PC problem within 25min. after that window 8 running smoothly. I have not problem..

Only problem is ,it can not run without necessary graphics card ,
otherwise everything is good .

 

It can run perfectly on an onboard GPU.....
