    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=link:http://www.custom-made-paper.com&btnG=Search

    The domain, custom-made-paper.com, is PR6. Google gives it credit for 126 backlinks, many of which are .edu sites. If you search for "custom-made-paper.com" in the html of any of the pages that Google believes contain backlinks, you will see that "custom-made-paper.com" is not present. There is no link to custom-made-paper.com at all. Is this some sort of black hat technique? :confused:

    The problem is that it doesn't even deserve PR5. None of the 126 "referring" sites contain a link to custom-made-paper.com. How is this site fooling Google into believing that their link is present on .edu and other authority sites when it isn't?

    the second page on that list had a link in to the custom paper. the first and second i couldn't find the link. I lost interest after checking those 3.

    Perhaps the ones that didn't have the link removed it since the last time G indexed those pages. Hard to say for sure.

    This is quite impressive of them. Their site does not look bh at all upon review but their link building tactics yield excellent results in Google.

    From my SQ bar in firefox:
    PR: 5
    Google's indexed pages --> 0 WTF??? With a PR5?
    Y! links --> 29

    Odd to say the least. My best guess is that it's a glitch and the servers are updating. I've been wrong before though and will keep an eye on this.

    Doing a simple search for Custom-made-paper.com turned up this resource below

    State University
    This site may harm your computer.
    Custom-made-paper.com. General links | Resume and job resources | Writing resources | Colleges, universities, schools etc. Career and salaries - Set branch ...
    www.findsitenow.com/stateuniversity/Education-Sites.htm - Similar pages

    G actually listed this site and said that it installs malware on your computer. Never seen that before, if they know it does why not remove from index instead of just warn people?

    I'm particularly interested in the .edu and .gov sites in the list. Custom-made-paper.com does not exist on those sites. Here are all the "backlinks" from the first page of the Google backlink results:

    www.as.ua.edu/ant/printer.php?ID=18&fil=lib
    www.asburyparklibrary.org/APPL-KidsHomework.html
    www.bergen.edu/pages/994.asp
    www.blogmarks.net/marks/tag/custom+essay
    www.lacitycollege.edu/services/co-op/html/help.html
    www.shreve.webcentre.ca/english.htm
    www.strl.nsw.gov.au/HSC Support.htm
    www.top-google-pagerank.com/google-pagerank/6/6/
    www.uni-magdeburg.de/sprz/index.php?page=english/links

    I only see the link on www.top-google-pagerank.com/google-pagerank/6/6/

    This trend continues on the following Google results pages. I think it virtually impossible that all of these sites happened to remove the link after the last update. Something is very fishy here.
