One of my directory submitters, added a site of mine here: http://www.searchitfast.com/ Upon review, I see that all links run through a CGI. Am I missing something or is this not SE friendly?
I'm not 100% sure (so why am I answering this?) But the CGI could forward on to your site using a 301 and that should (in theory) count as proper link. There's a way to check, but I can't here behind this firewall.
Thats clearly non-SEF! Submitting to those directory is usefull only if you are looking for direct traffic and NOT backlinks. PS: Perhaps you should try my staff.
Yea, I thought it was common sense. Now I need to go check every single submit. lol. But, I spent $10-15 for 100 submits, so I won't cry about it.
I thought I read the other day that no matter how you redirect, it's still not good for the recipient. (SEO-wise)
