Hi! I started new page yesterday and for first day (there are just one ad unit) there were average click approx. $0.065 but today average click is $0.29. I'm happy about that, but I don't understand, there are same ads I think, same ad unit... all! I must mention, there are also only one page till today, so the content is the same and I think the ads can't be so different. Any idea? Thanks.
I think you can't usually know if the ads are the same, and even if they are the same for you, there will be different ads shown in different countries. Plus some advertisers change their bids according to day of the week, and the amount advertisers pay is related to how much other advertisers are willing to pay at the same time, and each ad in an ad-unit will pay a different rate. Bottom line is, the amount you earn per click will always vary day to day, and according to which ad in the 'ad-unit' was clicked on (those shown first pay more, so the top one in an ad-unit might pay a lot more than the bottom one).
Thanks for that. I apriciate appreciate this. I didn't know that the CPC can vary so much. Can be also there something about smart pricing, and for first 1000 impressions, there is bad CPC and than is better?
