Google has a premium Adsense service exclusively for websites who receive more than 5 million search queries, or 20 million content page views per month.

The owner of that website is clearly a Premium AdSense Publisher.

Once you reach those levels of traffic, you receive an email invite from AdSense team to join a user interface you can use to modify the ads in any way you wish -- even disable the "Ads by Google" text.

This is exactly what this publisher is taking advantage of.

The owner of the website is a Premium AdSense Publisher.

Remember, based on the AdSense terms, you are allowed to place ads on any website that you own, whether it receives traffic or not. This publisher likely has another website that receives enough traffic to qualify for a Premium AdSense Publisher account.

Makes no sense, it doesnt have to be that exact site, the owner could have several sites, and you use the one adsense account dont you, so overall if his figure match up to what is needed for adsense premium then he will have it.

Absolutely right. Also, why are there people who still think of Alexa rank as a parameter to judge the traffic of a website. Alexa is highly inaccurate and manipulative.

It's not inaccurate or manipulative. You just don't understand how non-deterministic stochastic statistics work.

    Have a great day.

Some publishers like premium adsense publishers are allowed to do this. They can put more ad units, put ads on adult content pages and so on.

you need to get extremely high traffic to become a premium publisher.
