2 months forum statistics: Threads: 343, Posts: 1,444, Members: 488 It is a webmaster forum launched on 7th Sept, 2008 What do you say about these stats, is my forum going OK or too slow?
I'd say the forum is going at a decent rate for stats like that in two months. Especially on a webmaster forum, as many of them as there are today. Just keep doing what you're doing. But for 448 members, you should have a lot more posts than that IMO.
Actually many of the new registrations are 'spammers' or Robots, who just sign up with fake email IDs because their registrations always appear in "Awaiting for Email Confirmation"
Thanks for the suggestion. I was actually thinking of the same but didn't know how to do it. I have deleted all those stupid bots/spammers and now got total 285 confirmed members
Having lots of members but not many posts isn't great, but it is good to see that you sorted it out. Keep promoting, that is a steady rate of growth for a new forum, especially in that niche. As it gets bigger, it will start to grow faster. But keep up the good work.
My forum has been out for 2 weeks and about to hit 3,000 ^_^! But, yours is Okay... Not bad, not good nor great. It's okay... xD!
As you mentioned it is a webmaster forum so I guess the stats are pretty good, because there are already lots of forums out there. Keep promoting your forum and try to double the numbers every two months
