Hello everybody i'm going to work for one of mlm companies but my purpose is on avon!! what's your opinion about it ? if anybody know please help me thanks
My wife sold for them in the Philippines and did very well. She established regular customers and was able to support herself when she lost her job.
The plus point is that it at least has a physical product unlike many MLMs these days. All the Avon Reps I have known have only been interested in selling the product rather than the business so don't know if it is that they are more focused on that than others or if the people I knew didn't realise that much more money can be made through the "system" than the "product" (like Amway used to be). Those I knew made a small income on it (UK based) but not sufficient to be sole income source.
My teacher at university used them as an example in our entrepreneuring class, but i really dont remember what he said
My sister gets her make ups and undergarments from avon and the strategy she made to get discounts is, she signed up as a reseller, but she's not reselling anything, she buys for herself.
They have a interesting marketing system that although it is not new in idea it is new in innovation and implementation . Avon is a far cry from being a market dominating giant but the fact that their system is excellently ran makes it a force to be reckoned . Avon strength doesn't reside in the quality or the innovation or even the price , it resides in the loyalty of it's distributes and the novelty that any woman can make a small profit without having a MBA .
It depends what you like: products, their payplan or both ? some people only likes products, some like to do business with these products by using them and telling other how they cool is
It's a worldwide known company with good product and a great marketing system. But it's not for everyone. You gotta have the right mentality and attitude to know how to deal with people in order to be successful.
well if you got nothing to do more profitable offline as of the moment I think Avon has the best offer there is compared to other mlm. Good products and good incentives program.
