try to search in google for "san diego search engine optimization"

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=san+diego+search+engine+optimization

You will see the site "www.waterdancer.com" on the first page #10

and if you go to the second page of SERPS for the same search term you will see the same url www.waterdancer.com as #13

How is that possible? Same term and it shows 2 times?

Thats very weird for them to have a result listing for the exact same page of a site. Usually it would be a different page on the domain, but I have never seen anything such as what you are mentioning.

If you click on the two results, do they open the same page ??

I don't see it. From what data center have you seen the result?

 

The results may depend on your ip address. If it belongs to the Russian segment you will see the results that are impossible in other geo areas.

I got the same result here, it does display on both the 1st and 2nd page.

The link also opens to the same page, weird, but it must be nice

I see it at number 7 and see it just once..

haven't seen such a result ever and I am sure there is some blunder happening at your end..just a guess

 

GBN, you are correct, i do use some russian fonts and settings, but i am not in russia, i am in US

But i think google has some issues with russian settings

I'm seeing the same thing as the OP (I'm in the US). They're showing up as the last result on the first page and the second result on the second page.

One thing I can think of - which doesn't sound correct - is that perhaps the second result used to be a deep link on the same server, which they recently 301 redirected to their home page. But if that were the case I don't think Google would have kept them as separate URL's, it should have combined them.

Another thought is that maybe page 1's results comes from one server, and page 2's results come from another, since they are fairly close together in the grand scheme of things.

Or it could be some sort of new advertising service.

 

Now I have checked, it is on the 8th position in the google SERP and on the 24th position but on the 24th position inner page is displayed it may happen
