Hello, I am thinking to launch a blog for about technology products I will use adsense on it but wandering hows its Avg. CPC. My current site give me tons of .01 so I cant tolerate any more. Anyone who is using adsense on technology site?
It varies. It can be anywhere between $0.05 to $0.30 per click in my experience. Keep in mind that the general technology blog niche is completely flooded, so getting some visitors might be hard, unless you're willing to spend a little on link building and advertising.
well i get $1 daily mainly trough cpm ads and single or two clicks made daily on my technology blog , my highest till now is $1.16 for a single click
I average 0.23 cents per click on my gadget site. I'm pretty happy with that actually, as the sites receives about 50 clicks daily with 250 visitors.
Ok so i just signed up for bidvertiser and i have a question. I understand that Adsense allows you to have another PPC program on the same page with the understand that the second program (Bidvertiser) should not look nor appear the same as the Adsense template. My question is, Does Bidvertiser have the same TOS as Adsense? I checked the link in their "How can I insure that my account won't be terminated?" http://www.bidvertiser.com/bdv/BidV...nsure_terminated.dbm?ID_Token=47004G03Q6BFAS9 I didn't see anything of the sort so........
I would actually give a try to a affiliate program as CJ instead of using AdSense in a technology blog. Tech oriented visitors are more likely to buy products instead of click on ads. If you want to hear my opinion, use a non-internet related site to earn with adsense. You could anyway give it a try and use both, AdSense and a affiliate program and see which one performs best for you. Yet i am more convinced that affiliate program will work better for that niche. Just my thought.
I would have to agree with the guy above me. Affiliate programs that give a commission off sales might work better for you(ei. selling registry cleaners ,data recovery software, virus scanners and other stuff like that). It is a very competative niche though, so dont expect a quick turn around, it will most likely take you months do build even a relatively small traffic base.
my niche is in the technology fringe, and ePC fluctuates wildly.. lately though it has been way up and on many pages my ePC is measured in dollars, not cents. also, referrals such as firefox should be pretty easy to convert @ $1 each.
