NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! I had a swreg account and my account was blocked without any prior information, and i was advised that my payment are hols for 180 days to allow chargebacks and refunds. I between i had several conversation with swreg for partial payment as i was in the need of the same, but they always insisted to pay after 180 days & now when 180 days are over they say No payments will be made. I am in very urgent need of money... I had paid my company expenses & staffs from personal loans from friends, relatives and other market resources, and now when i was expecting to pay back they say they will not pay. For those who are using SWREGDear Vendor: Your shop was closed by our Loss Prevention Team. No payment will be made. SWREG is the scam of the century and anyone who trusts them will simply regret later and will have to pay a very heavy price. I don't know how they are allowed to operate. They can break their own agreement and not bat an eyelid. They lie on your face and make a fool out of you. Their agreement clearly talks about giving a vendor 30 days notice prior to terminating the agreement to sell with them, but we were not given any notice and our shop was closed. Below are the points that PROVE that they are a scam: 1. They allege that they are fearing chargebacks on our account, but they have no answer to our question on why we are not being allowed to refund the customers. If they are fearing chargebacks, why are they not allowing us to refund customers? 2. When we brought the 30 days notice clause before suspending a vendor's account to their notice their reply was: 2. CONDITIONS AND RULES OF USING SWREG A. Your Software must meet or exceed SWREG's product requirements (as determined by SWREG). I mean we are not even using a software and this is the biggest piece of bullshit I have even seen. They had themselves confirmed to paying us on August 15 when we asked them for payment back in July. How come they didn't notice the so called "software violation" that time? 3. SWREG claims that may hold back the payments of a vendor if they have a REASONABLE basis to believe they may get chargebacks. They have no basis to believe our account will get chargebacks, let alone a "reasonable basis" because we have not got a single customer refund request or a chargeback. They have failed to give us any reason why they believe our account may get chargebacks. They have verified each and every payment we have got and they have put our account through a 60 day verification before our payment date on which the payment was never made. All the above points clearly suggest that DIGITAL RIVER and SWREG are scammers and should not be allowed to operate anymore.
Unfortunately SWReg also scammed us quite badly. I'll explain to you what happened exactly: We signed up with them in the end of July. Our account was approved, we added sales to our site and started selling. Alle went fine for a period of 10 days, we earned about 1400 usd, no chargebacks or complaints came in, so we thought things were looking good to go further with this. After some mail correspondance they mentioned accounts would be reviewed over a period of 1-2 months time and then they would say if they could proceed accepting us or not. So I found it already quite suspicious they closed our account after 10 days time. Then suddenly they said they could no longer support our business and the money would be held for a period of 1-2 months for any possible chargebacks. Still no hard feelings, although they could have mentioned that before we signed up. So already a big mistake made there by them. After 1 month I was asking again for an update on the release of the funds earned, then they said the money would be hold for a period of 6-12 months. If there's 1 thing they need to work on is to firstly not activate accounts that cannot be supported for whatever reason and stealing money from businesses. I find them a big scamming company and I would not recommend signing up with them unless you like to throw away money and never get paid out.
Fsholding, I am sorry to hear your loss. What steps did you finally take? What happened when you tried talking to them? They have been ignoring my emails and phone calls.
They are doing same thing to us, ignoring mails and tickets if we ask for a suitable solution. This is the last reply they sent: "Payment is held for 6 months to allow for any Chargeback / refund claims which is very generous as banks can issue Chargeback's up to 12 months after a purchase." Funny thing is though that we found a site that is doing exactly the same business as us and they still support them for payment processing. When we mention something about it, it's also silent on the other side. We might take further steps and maybe our lawyer can still do anything about it. But apart from that not much you can do. Only thing we can do is prevent other people from signing up with them and making the same mistake.
I have used SWREG.org too, and found them good. the only issue i have is that the slightly higher fee as compare to the services like iVerfied.com.
