How is my traffic (for a fairly new site)

So far I'm averaging around 5-10 uniques a day. The only thing is, I haven't really optimized some of the cheat pages in the nes cheats area (the only area with real content at this time and its not even a tenth of the way finished and I haven't even touched the title tags yet on the cheats area.)

And also so far, my site has a PR of 0 with a predicted PR of 3 and you can check some traffic details if you want here. extremetracking.com/open;ref2?login=scylla78 (sorry no live links yet). But would you say it's getting good traffic so far?

What are you asking? If 5-10 people/day is good? Not really but you gotta start somewhere.

no, 5-10 uniques a day with around 30-50 hits a day so far. And I should get a bit of a boost when the page gets to PR3.

"hits" as in the files requested from your server?

Either way, that's not a lot....and I don't understand what you are asking.

    Sorry.

In other words, how is my traffic compared to other up & coming sites that barely have any content.

Well, it's good in the sense that you at least are getting some traffic.

Some people build a site and expect people to flock to it. That's not how it works.

I think you do realize that. That is a good start. You do need a lot more hits though.

You have started getting links and that's good. Keep that up.

The harder you work at it the more people will come. All the info you need is right here.

Depends on how long the site has been up. If it has been up for a week I would say ok; but if it has been up for three or more months I would say not good. You never said what your backlinks were. That would be nice to know.

Find some lists of seo friendly sites and submit like crazy. Also, If your site can produce a rss feed that would help with getting traffic.

Best of luck getting traffic for your site.

Well of course its going to take me a while to build the files by hand.
Why don't you have a look at this http://www.gamers.bizari.net/nintendo-world/nes/z_games.txt and see for yourself, copying & pasting each title to make file out of it.... for FIVE directories!

Can I suggest that you do this and get moderate content levels before you start your promotion so you have a chance of keeping those potential users.

I am sure most people here could show vast lists of work done or scripting.

I am not trying to diss you!

    Good luck with it all

I didn't even post it here, some moderator moved it from the traffic forum. All I really want right now is opinions, I didn't post it to advertise (like the moderator who moved it here thought I was trying to do. And I can't post in here yet, I haven't gotten the 7 days of being a member on here yet).

I didn't move it because you were advertising. I moved it because this is where it belongs.

You want people to look at your site and give you opinions...AKA- "Website Review". ;)

Uhm with numbers that small are you sure it is not just you that is causing those 5-10 uniques, that is really nothing to even mention I have a site that I made that on its fifth day got 16,000 uniques but what was more impressive is that 1700 uniques a day keep coming back, people like to see a good product presented nicely, and there is no point in asking am I on pace or do I have potential, as that means nothing untill you actually make something ;)
