How is it possible to have a PR but no cache?

    Normal Ban? Surely if a site is banned from google it would have a PR0?

    No, it still can have PR, as backlinks exist.
    I know a PR 6 site not indexed ....

    I've seen this with other forums that make you sign up to see the replies in the threads.
    Been wondering myself.
    Is this a setting in webmaster tools (I never noticed) or the google algo?

    well other pages of the site are in cache, so cant be a ban? or can google ban just a page!

    headtheweb: forums like phpbb have settings that allow google bot to spider content, but not guests. in such instances instead of registering, i just use the google cache to view the page TOP TIP :)
