Please mention the salary for any of the city in India. Which type of working will be best a normal company or freelancing? What are the other activities I need to improve for my career? Can I able to settle in this field for life long?
Since that you have a better experiences in the field of SEM and of course SEO don't after to have a job in the company why not choose to be a freelancer, you can get a better opportunity better job and better salary.
I really don't know about salaries in India, but if you are good on what you do I will suggest you open a couple of sites and start working as an affiliate, you can earn good money with it or, as said above, you can work as freelancer... mmmm or you can do both
Where Do Internet Marketers Really Make Money From? Well I break it down into the follow types of marketers and what they sell below: 1. Marketers who create and sell internet marketing products to make money 2. Marketers who are selling non internet marketing products create courses on internet marketing and sell it online 3. Marketers who sell non internet marketing products ( really rare ) 4. Marketers who sell real value services to solve internet marketing marketing issues 5. Marketers who sell tools or create tools to sell online
I disagree with number 3. I think it's more rare to see an internet marketer making money off IM products than non-im products. IM products are almost saturated, really hard market to get into. Same with non-IM, but the possibilites are much larger. Take dropshippers for example, webshop owners etc.
Try freelancing Pays much better then any job of course if you have skills and can deliver things not just promise like most of the "experts" out there ...

I think being an affiliate and joining the right program is the way to go. There are programs out there that suits everyone's needs. The program I joined not too long ago offers great commissions and if you use your skills there is potential to make quite a lot of money.
I reckon the salary would depend on your depth and breadth of practical knowledge. If you are extremely strong in one area, you could join a big organization as a specialist. If you dabble multiple skill sets, you could join a medium and growing company where you can multi task and hone your skills. I suggest you decide the kind of company you plan to settle down in (corporate company, digital marketing agency, lead generation company, advertising agency, etc). Then work on your core competencies. As a creative person with a , I am confident that the future is digital. So go all out in the online space; I am sure you will make it big! Best of luck. Sasi
Nowadays Internet marketing is the main category of marketing. All uses internet for marketing and advertising. I also want some local business submission sites of USA for marketing. It is too much tough for finding for specific location. Please give me those links which are from USA and allows for submitting business.
In your case, Arun, freelancing would be the way to go if you are good at what you do. I would recommend that you do research on other companies and individuals that are doing the same work you are skilled at. This way you will have a ballpark figure on what you can price your work at and then make adjustments if you feel that you are more strong in other areas which will allow you to charge more. The first thing I highly recommend that you do is build yourself a website and your brand. The most important credentials online now a days is your reputation. Branding yourself as an authority in the field that you are in is what will allow you to make the kind of money that you want to make online. This is not an easy business to get involved with. I've been marketing online for over 8 years, it takes a long time to develop a brand, and a very good plan of action that you can use in your daily method of operation that works. So your first round of business would be to develop a website for your business and then use your skills to rank your website in top pages of the major search engines. If your focus is on search engine marketing, and that's what you are trying to sell, then you must work to SEO your website to rank well. We get approached a lot from many different SEO firms or individuals wanting to SEO our websites. The first thing that I do is qualify them. If they aren't ranked well for the keywords that they are SEO'ing, then how will they be able to rank our websites as well? Food for thought, build your website, develop your brand, rank your website so that you have substantial proof of what you are capable of. Many marketers talk the talk, and claim they are experts in what they do, but in the end it really comes down to walking the walk. Regards, Jaye Pause
You can try sites like elance.com or guru.com any site that offers freelance work, trust me, people will pay for a great service like that.
SEM is very risky job if you can't bring traffic and improve the ranking of a website in real time then it could be an issue with your job and if you are confident and have experience of generating desired results then learn some more techs regarding search engines and web application and also improve communication skills then u can flourish in this business

I think the crucial point is other clients you have successfully improved the results for, people are much more likely to take you on per your terms based on a portfolio of previous work
