The +1 button gives your visitors the ability to recommend your site to Google users. The more +1's you get, the better are the SERPS.

I have read recently that Google+1 does have a good value when it comes to SEO. Some even say it is terrific for SEO purposes. The service or site is still new especially when comparing it to Facebook so even if it may not always get the best reviews I think it is still worth pursuing for these purposes. Google doesn't usually design and promote something of this caliber with the expectation for it to fail or to not have a good value for its users.

If you open a bunch of fake Google Plus accounts and like your site and only your site on each of them, then Google will realize that something is up and they will devalue your +1's. You should focus on creating a Google Plus page for your site, product, or service and have normal users start giving you +1's since they are being active on other sites as well. Google's new algorithm focuses on having everything look natural.

Google+ at the moment I believe has only a small amount of influence over the SERPs, however I believe that over the next couple of years this will change vastly!

Absolutely it will. Google is placing more emphasis on social features. That's why sites with social sharing buttons on them are being ranked higher.

Google has already started to include google+ on search results... especially if you are logged into any google account. Naturally any of your Google plus followers or whomever you follow will have their results pop-up first on results. Try it out... log into google and do a search on something that you plusone then log out and do the same search. Your results are different now.

This is a very good point to add which is why Google Plus will prove to be a powerful tool for your business. Someone who has a Google Plus account will see their friends' liked websites appear in the SERPs first above all others.

The +1 for your site means a lot since it affects the individual SERPS for each person connected to you. That happens when your friends on Google+ recommends and +1 your links and it would be then become "popular" among the connected friends.

Yes when your circled person searches any keyword on google (when he is login to google) he will find your pic with your pluses content. and your shared content will be on better rank then others.

So go and make an gogle plus account to get more and more traffic

"MORE CIRCLE PEOPLE MORE SERPS FOR YOUR WEB PRESENCE"

As You check that acount - plus.google.com/115271699958608371917/posts -having over 5000 of google circle people and getting more and more attantion from google than 2000 + networker on google plus.

SEO Effect Homepage - no increase in search impressions but saw an average increase of 24% in visibility across a range of keywords. Static tool page - saw an increase in clicks and an average increase of 20% in visibility across a range of keywords. Blog post page - saw an increase in impressions and clicks but results were discounted as the page was new to the Google index and heavily promoted via social media.
