    There's no reason that should happen. However, web developers are now dropping support for IE6 and some large sites are also doing so. I don't recall which sites but I think Facebook is one. Now would be a good time to switch to a modern browser like Firefox, Opera or Safari. IE8 is not a modern browser so don't use that one.

    I'm sick of IE 8. It crashes very often and it has problem in rendering page correctly. Even DP is not rendered properly. I've to open DP in compatibility view mode of IE8.

    I have tried Internet explorer 8 on windows7, and i must say its still Buggy.
    It crashes a lot and CSS rendering problem still remains, I believe they will never ever be able to beat Firefox.

    I am so sick of IE7 with Vista that I dont think I will even try. I use google chrome, and it works almost flawlessly! the only problem is that some video functions is not compatible with it yet, but then I often use firefox!

    I tried it .... better than IE7 ..some new features and other improvements...but its bloated and eats up a lot of memories still... so I am staying with FF and Chrome ...

    Apart from that I see no real differnce.

    W7 is a lot lot lot better than vista though/
