i don't use IE, but i updated my xp sp3 and ie7 for just security purpose. but never use it :)

so, no IE8 for me unless they release full version and force me to update. LOL

I tried it as beta and it kept crashing all the time.
So i thought let it come out of beta then i will give it a try..
looks and some new features are added.
Not much difference in memory usage

for UnknownOne - just for your info, firefox imitated opera which had tabs A LONG (AND I MEAN LONG) time before Firefox was even a project ...

I haven't tried IE 8 yet, I wait for a stable version, not a beta, but i'm sure it will be faster than ie7 and more secure

I had installed it on trail basis. Two things I have noticed are:

[1] It requires high memory. A single windows requires around 150 MB memory which is too high.
[2] When I end task IE from task manager, it start Internet Explorer again. That means, I can't end task it from Task manager.

So far I am happy with FireFox and have no plan to use IE.

I was using IE in 2007 but i was facing problem in it after every few days . Within a week or 10 days it starts displaying messages like IE has encountered problem and need to be closed . When i click on report problem everything get closed . Many times this happened in between writing blogposts also . But after that i have not used it .

Depends. They are both excellent and light years ahead of IE8.

There is no reason to love IE8. It is 11 years behind web standards and holds back technological advancements on the web. IE is the worst thing on the planet right now.
