How is everyone doing with the Co-op

    Hey guys!

I've been a big fan of the CO-OP for awhile now, but since the Jagger update I have stripped my site of all the code. My sites dropped to being non existant and they are slowing making a come back. I was really sad to remove the code but out of desperation I did what I had to do. Now I am really missing all those backlinks and was wondering how everyone was doing that uses the COOP. I would like to start using it again but i would like to see what everyone else is thinking of it. I might try it out again on some smaller sites but that last update hurt pretty bad.

    Thanks for your input!

That was the WWII of SEO field :)

Nvm. You are born after WWII, luckily. :D

BTW, Co-op is working great for me at the moment :)

I tried this system a couple of years ago but I could not see any traffic being generated from it back then. Maybe it is time to try it again?

How exactly does the COOP work. How so if you show 5 links, then it will show 5 links for your website?

I tried it a while back but also never saw any return.

I have recently added them again and will see how it goes.

Well I can say it was extremely easy to install it and get it working so I was pleasantly surprised. I also was impressed with Shawns instructions on how to implement it. Most of the time you find instructions that only someone with 4 years at MIT would understand or someone that has many years experience.

Thanks for the response.. I'm going to try again!!! I just have to dig up the .asp code for it again. I've fixed a lot of issues with my site. I am sure that they were all factors in the Jagger "pwnage" lol... ;)
At this point, aside from deleting my websites, I don't think I can do much worse!

Thanks! I got the asp code added to my sites last night and I bumped up the .asp thread so people could find it easier.
So far I haven't seen very good results, a lot of my keywords died overnight.. haha.. That seems to be a regular thing these days though.

FYI Design, it takes at least a week to see results on MSN, another couple to see changes in Google, and months if you are trapped in the sandbox...

This is the most frustrating part for people. The sandbox if they get trapped there. Best to be patient is all.

Yesterday I got two number two on MSN for my main keyword. The day before I was outside the top 100 for the very same keyword. This was about the same time that I've started to see a big increase of backlinks. I've been on the network for only a week and a half. :)

Now if only I could get to no 2 at Google. :D
