How ironic, Yahoo using adsense.

    I find it a little weird that Yahoo! is using Google Adsense, just shows that Yahoo! is a saying "Lets use a better SE to monetize our SE" Google - 1, Yahoo! - 0

    They use Adwords, to be precise. Because of topic I though, they display adsense on their pages...

    Yep,

    I sow that thread and I was "Woow.. I gotta see that :D" ... actually Google does pay in the YPN and also other advertising networks so this is considered common practice and there is absolutely nothing strange in it ...

    That's called marketing and I'm sure Yahoo has a nice budget to spend on things like this.

    i thought this topic was goin to show yahoo using adsense on their sites.. that would be WTF. but using another network to gain market share seems a perfectly normal thing to do

    No its just the wat Business work, yahoo and google are business rivals and not enemies, they use adsense cause they realise that adsense has more marketing power they there own YPN, nothing strange..

    Adwords = Displays your ads on all webpages.
    Y! Search Market - Displays it on Y! only pages (It's not YPN)
