How important to you is making money from your blog?

To earn money from blog is very much important.
You can earn money through blog by ADSENSE programme also.

at the moment, making money isnt really an issue for me, the main issue is getting to grips with WP, and figuring out how to create a decent blog.

For some, blogging provides income to pay for hosting, domain registrations and other expenses. Breaking even can be the goal. Once that is achieved then we can start aiming for the Aston Martin

Completely agree. You can't earn right away, but if it doesn't make any money in a year or so, it sucks.

Who doesn't want to make money if you have a well designed blog with good content and decent traffic?

The codinghorror blog has no adsense, but makes money via selling links to other sites.

Well honestly when I first started, making money wasn't at ALL important. But as of now, being I'm working on getting a network of blogs going, I think it will be somewhat important. But as long as I'm having fun that's what counts for me! And I'm sure if I'm enjoying what I'm doing I will make money!

For me, making money from blog is important to me. Though I don't much rely on the earnings I get from this because my blog's earning is not much high.

At the moment I am more concerned with getting visitors and building my blog, ofcourse I would love to be able to live soley off my blogging, that is what I am working towards.

It would be great to make money blogging, but the most successful blogs are those started out of pure love for a subject (no matter what that subject is). A passion really helps, as well as your own point of view.
