Google and other search engines will treat domains with age with more respect. So aged domains are good, but not always worth the price.

It really depends. A domain that is 10 years old without a site ever developed and no backlinks isn't going to be worth as much as an established site of any age. This also depends on what the domains name is. It does help with ranking in google but I don't really buy into the praise of aged domains, I have been able to get brand new domains ranked too.

It really depends on a number of factors, age deffy helps. But if there is no backlink, no promotions done, it cant sell for too much. Again it will vary from site to site.

oh, good information. Thanks to all. I think age 's important to the medium domain price, and with the high prce, nothing can be known cause it depends on new brands, new opinion, new most popular thing, example facebook if it were not the biggest social net work, i think it's appraised about hundreds dollars, maximun $x,xxx, right:D

One of the many factors in Google's search engine algorithm is the age of a domain name. In a small way, the age of a domain gives the appearance of longevity and therefore a higher relevancy score in Google

Yeah, aged domains have more value.. Moreover, if the domain is short, unique, memorable and descriptive, you will make really good choice.

Domain Age will help you in SEO. Which they may get higher trust from Search Engine Due to age of the domain name. You will not get drop in to sandbox that easy if you did black hat SEO by the help of age of the domain.

But mostly people will not value a domain with the age only, they will value it with keyword, backlink and PR.

don't take it as a general rule

a domain from 1995 that has never been developed will not help you more than one from 2007 that has
